The Saltegra team, as a member of the Philippine Chemical Industry Roadmap 2023–2028’s Sub-Working Group on Industry Promotion (SWG 2), participated in the 2nd Meeting held at the 1st Floor Training Room, BOI, Industry and Investment Building, Makati City.

The group also included representatives from the Department of Trade and Industry – Board of Investments (DTI–BOI) and chemical industry professionals from the Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK), Progressive Association of the Phil Ink Maker (PAPIM), Inc., Philippine Paint and Coatings Association, Inc. (PPCAI), and the Association of Petrochemical Manufacturers of the Philippines (APMP), Inc.

The discussion centered on updates from the PCIR WG Meetings, the work plan review for strategies 4 and 6, specific action items for these strategies, which focus on promoting strategic chemical investments and introducing safer materials and processes, and other related matters.

We are honored to play a part in developing this updated roadmap. Enabling Industry Linkages, Sustainability, Safer Materials and Operations, and Productivity highlights the vital role of the chemical industry in the country’s economic development and in shaping a sustainable society.
