Sharing Our Experience at ASPPI’s 8th OSH Regional Forum!

We are happy to share our participation in the 8th OSH Regional Forum organized by the Association of Safety Practitioners of the Philippines, Inc. (ASPPI), held at the Occupational Safety & Health Center on Agham Road, Bagong Pag-asa, Quezon City. The event, themed “Safety in Motion, Avert Collision: Be a Safety Hero,” brought together Health, Safety, and Environment professionals, managers, executives, and advocates from the government and private sectors. It addressed the necessary precautions and mitigation processes in preventing road-related incidents and accidents.

One of the key moments for us was signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with our partner, ASPPI. During our speech, we also had the opportunity to introduce the concept of process safety to the attendees.

Highlights of the event included:

– Meeting the dedicated officers and board members of ASPPI.

– Hearing inspiring remarks from Engr. Jose Maria S. Batino, CESO IV, Executive Director of the Occupational Safety and Health Center (OSHC).

– Learning about Safe Driving Practices from Antonio B. Pagulayan, Jr., Head of Traffic Education at the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA).

Connecting with various industries’ occupational health and safety practitioners was a valuable experience. As engineers in process safety, we appreciated the opportunity to demonstrate how process safety interconnects with occupational health and safety.

We are grateful for this chance to learn from industry experts, share best practices, and discuss strategies for managing risks and improving safety. We are united in protecting people and assets by creating safer workplaces and safer roads.

Once again, congratulations and thanks to ASPPI for this successful event!
