Process Safety Management: Hazard Identification and Controls

The upcoming CPD-accredited webinar, “Process Safety Management: Hazard Identification and Controls,” is accredited by professional organizations in Chemical and Mechanical Engineering. This event is proudly presented by Samahan sa Pilipinas ng mga Industriyang Kimika (SPIK), Pollution Control Association of the Philippines, Inc. (PCAPI), and Saltegra Consulting LLC.
This is the second installment in the four-part PSM Webinar Series. It delves into four critical elements: Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR), Mechanical Integrity (MI), and Management of Change (MOC). These components are vital in identifying and mitigating process-related risks and ensuring proactive safety measures before incidents occur.
Participants will learn the fundamentals of applying structured methodologies like HAZOP, ensuring equipment reliability, managing process changes safely, and verifying startup readiness. Real-world examples will help reinforce how these elements integrate with daily operations.
By the end of the session, attendees will understand how to evaluate risks, implement effective controls, and appreciate industry best practices. This builds on the foundation laid in Session 1 and moves participants closer to building a fully integrated, risk-informed PSM program.
Fees: Free for SPIK/PCAPI members | PHP 200 for non-members.
